Contributors - Hobson Community Library

The Hobson Community Library is a branch of the Judith Basin County Free Library and provides technology, programming, business services as well as an extensive collection of books to library patrons residing in Buffalo, Hobson, Moccasin, Utica and the surrounding area.  The Library is housed in a historic 1914 building that has been extensively renovated.  The library’s book collection is maintained on the Montana Shared Catalog and includes fiction for all ages, non-fiction, Montana fiction and non-fiction, audio books, eBooks, and movies on DVD.  Regular programming includes a bi-weekly preschool story hour, monthly reading times with Hobson elementary students and an annual summer reading program. Special programs hosted by the library include technology workshops as well as art and educational events.  A Meeting room is available for public use as well as Wi-Fi, copier, and fax machine.

Early Agriculture and Homesteading in Judith Basin County 

This collection of photos shows the arrival of newcomers to the Judith Basin area and their daily life as homesteaders.  Also featured in this collection is the highly productive growing season of 1915.
